Safety testing & lab reports

Anything that goes in a child’s mouth in a classroom or clinic should clear the same bar as a regulated children’s product — documented by an accredited third-party laboratory, not by the factory that made it. Here is exactly how our tools are tested, and where to download the reports.

The standards we test to

  • ASTM F963-23 — the current U.S. children’s product safety standard (mechanical hazards, flammability, heavy elements).
  • CPSIA — federal lead and phthalate limits for children’s products.
  • 16 CFR 1501 — small-parts / choking-hazard evaluation consistent with the stated age grade.
  • Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) — available on request, backed by testing at a CPSC-accepted lab.

Our lab reports

Both product lines pass ASTM F963-23 and CPSIA testing — lead, phthalates, heavy elements, flammability, and small parts. Download the full third-party reports:

  • Sensory Chew Bricks — report No. RGST260130351
  • Teething Straws — report No. RGST260209701

Both are downloadable from our homepage, and we’ll send them directly with any vendor packet.

Material & construction safety

  • Solid-core silicone — no hollow chambers to harbor moisture, and far more durable than hollow-molded products under sustained chewing.
  • Free of the usual offenders — latex-free, BPA-free, phthalate-free, and PVC-free.
  • Sanitizable — top-rack dishwasher safe, or wash with soap and warm water and sanitize per your facility’s protocol.
  • Inspect and replace — chew tools are consumables; inspect before each use and replace any unit showing surface wear. Defect replacements are free, no time limit.

Vetting any vendor — ours included

We keep a free, printable vendor-vetting compliance checklist you can apply to any sensory-tool supplier. If a vendor can’t produce accredited third-party reports for the standards above, that’s your answer.
